It’s Fun to Deal with BTC activewear!
Did you see the eye-catching Stand at Printwear & Promotion Live?
This year’s memorable theme was ‘School Days’ and featured a 3-storey high school building adorned with tongue-in-cheek ‘Bunty’s Training College’ signage and featuring original 1950’s school memorabilia and even a ‘Bunty’s Tuck Shop’ offering packs of everybody’s favourite old-fashioned sweets.
Sponsored by Jerzees Schoolgear, who introduced their well-received new range of School Blazers, the stand was buzzing with iconic characters including Head Mistress ‘Millicent Fritton’, ‘Hagrid’ from Harry Potter and a number of ‘naughty school girls’ posing with many of the visitors to the stand.
In addition BTC activewear enjoyed an amazing response to their Gildan sponsored prize draw. The stand was packed every hour on-the-hour each day of the show, as ‘Hagrid’ drew the names of 15 lucky winners who each received a stunning BlackBerry Torch 9800 smart phone.
Neil Pitcher, National Sales Manager said, “The BlackBerry prize draw ties-in nicely with a new service we’re offering customers for 2011 – access to prices and live stock levels using their smart phone. We have printed matrix codes alongside each of the 1000+ garments in our trade catalogue and simply by scanning these codes using any smartphone (and a free downloadable App), customers can access the information in seconds!”
BTC activewear also launched their new service – ‘Order up to 8pm with OLO!’ – where customers choosing to order On-Line now have until 8pm each evening to place their orders and still enjoy next-day before-noon delivery (usual geographic exceptions apply.)
As Neil commented, “Customers up against tight deadlines now have the real convenience of an extra 3½ hours each day to place orders. We already offer the best carriage rate and the best On-Line Ordering experience using OLO - this now gives customers another real advantage.”
Also new at Printwear & Promotion Live was the launch of the entire Stormtech European range.
Phil Roberts, National Sales Manager enthused, “BTC Activewear was the first and has always been the largest distributor of Stormtech technical outerwear in the UK. Now customers choosing to order on-line can exclusively access the entire collection despatched on a 4-day delivery – and judging by the reaction at the show this is going to extremely popular with customers now able to access over 150 additional quality Stormtech garments.”
In addition new brand SG, which is available exclusively through BTC Activewear, had a stand for the first time at Printwear & Promotion Live. Visitors were able to follow the SG logo carpet tiles to find their brightly lit stand where the entire range of SG Men’s, Women’s and Kid’s garments were on view.
SG was also offering visitors the chance to win a custom Vespa motor cycle in a free-to-enter Prize Draw, which proved to be very popular, with the winner being Les Stephens from Schoolwear for Less, who was announced after the show.
