Convenient: Simply place your order through the BTC web store and receive a one hour delivery timeslot e-mail or text notification confirming when your delivery will arrive.

Productive Don't hang around for deliveries any more - make better use of your time by being more productive - visit a customer, call a prospect, pop out to the bank etc.

Delivery timeslot notifications are entirely optional and FREE OF CHARGE for BTC customers.



What is the service?

We are improving your online shopping and delivery experience:

  • You are given a one hour delivery timeslot notified of this via email or text (or both).
  • You'll also get a reminder notification 15 minutes prior to arrival of the delivery van.<.li>
  • If the timeslot is not convenient, you can change the delivery date or have the parcel left safe with a neighbour.
  • Each notification is a BTC branded message so you know exactly what the delivery is for.
  • Notifications are personalised with the name of the delivery driver.

You can choose to send a delivery timeslot notification to either someone in your own organisation or directly to another recipient in your supply chain so that they are kept informed of delivery schedules.

Just select who you would like to receive the delivery timeslot notification during online checkout.

How do I setup delivery timeslot notifications?

For your convenience, delivery timeslot email notifications have been automatically switched on for your web store account.

To setup your SMS text contact or amend the default email, go to your online settings within 'My Account'.

  • Enter your preferred default mobile number for receiving text notifications.
  • Check the default notification e-mail address e.g. This could be a colleague in "Goods Inwards" or another preferred email recipient.
  • Click 'Save Changes' once you've entered your contact details.
  • That's it, you're all setup!

Delivery timeslot messages do not always have to be sent to your default contacts. You may choose alternative notification recipients - e.g. supply chain partners - during online checkout.

If you would prefer not to receive one hour delivery timeslot notifications, you can switch off this feature in your online settings area within 'My Account'.
